Kingdom Worship Center is the nonprofit church of Jars of Clay Shelter, dedicated to meeting the spiritual needs of the inner city poor. The church strives to help solve moral decay, crime, drug, gang, homelessness and poverty epidemics that exist in Atlanta’s inner-city. The vision to see thousands of hurting people come to know a new life in Christ through the efforts of our staff and volunteers is the driving force of the church. The mission Jars of Clay Outreach is to provide food, clothing, housing, education, job training and emergency shelter to thousands of hurting and needy children and adults of different races and cultures. Jars networks with organizations, agencies, foundations and individuals from around the city to accomplish these goals. The staff of KWC is dynamic! The church is made up of many races, nationalities, cultures, and economic levels. Likewise, Kingdom Worship Center works to partner with other churches with "like missions interest" to help us reach the lost and help meet the most basic and greatest needs.
Jars of Clay has an open door policy, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year; it implements programs that meet the needs, help the hurts, and solve the problems of inner-city by developing new and creative methods to communicate a positive message to those who would otherwise not hear it. Jars of Clay reaches young children, teenagers, and adults by providing for the physical needs. Jars of Clay presents the message of hope and provides on-campus shelter to restores broken families. It is imperative that our dynamic outreach continues to reach the hurting in Atlanta. Our plan is to eradicate poverty from our city by offering hope instead of despair, truth instead of lies, and provision instead of hunger, cold and nakedness. The vision can only be realized through the continued prayer and support and financial giving of caring individuals who by the spirit see the impeding need to help the hurting. Only with this support can Jars of Clay continue doing good works in our great city.
