The Legacy Council for Foster Care Reform exists to end foster care outcomes that leave youth isolated, homeless, undereducated, and incarcerated by the DFCS-APPLA program.
To offer an alternative path through a Residential Pathway, a Fictive Kin Family, a Technical Skill Program, and a network that follows young adults into adulthood.
UNDERSTAND THE FAILURE

of girls who age out will become pregnant before 21.

EVERY 2 MINUTES
A child enters the foster care system in the United States approximately every 2 minutes. This statistic highlights the ongoing crisis, with over 400,000 children in care requiring immediate placement due to abuse, neglect, or other family crises.
