Poverty

The state of being inferior in quality or insufficient in amount.  Powerless, disenfranchised, lacking well-being and the resources to obtain well-being”

Attacking Poverty

The two types of poverty that affect the human race are: Situational and Generational.

At Jars we focus on breaking the cycle of generational poverty.

Why? Because generational poverty cannot be changed with a quick fix, a small financial gift, a night in a hotel or soft-hearted plans. It must be intentionally redirected, directly impressed and addressed with great faith for change. And that intention, through faith will manifest that which is not seen into that which will be revealed (Hebrews 11:1).

We believe generational poverty is a complicated spiritual, relational, mental-attitude, educational and financial issue.

All homeless teenagers deserve a chance. We have begun the process of building container homes with the desire to launch our own tiny village.

Each community will host 40 homes and house homeless girls and their babies. Finally, they get a home!
